The material is super soft and thin but not see through, definitely would need a body shaper to wear in public as it does cling.

The dress is not as long as I thought it would be. I didn't check the length in the product details so totally my fault, but I thought the dress was probably ankle length or near ankle length, when actually it only comes down about 3 inches below the knee.
